River Rhythms Hosts Folk Rock Flavor, Thriftones
Miller products, wine and soda will be available at the Westown Beverage tent with all proceeds going to benefit the free event.
Milwaukee, WI— River Rhythms, downtown’s destination for music on Wednesday evenings welcomes The Thriftones to the stage this week Wednesday, July 8. The free concert series takes place from 6:30-9 p.m. every Wednesday until August 26th in Pere Marquette Park on Old World Third St. between State and Kilbourn.
The Thriftones have given traditional retro rock music a fresh twist with their folk rock sound. The band can be found playing shows at local bars down on Brady Street, to various festivals. The Thriftones are local to our diverse city of Milwaukee and is best described as a folk rock with flavoring of countless musical influences.
Miller products, wine and soda will be available at the Westown Beverage tent with all proceeds going to benefit the free event. Patrons can also enjoy food from Simmer, Eats and Treats and Laura’s Gourmet Popcorn.
