Milwaukee Police Investigate Non-Fatal Shooting on North Buffum Street; Two in Custody
Milwaukee Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at approximately 9:23 pm at the 2600 block of North Buffum Street. Two subjects approached each other, and gunfire was exchanged. Both subjects (ages 23 and 43) sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at local hospitals. Both subjects are in custody, and charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
