Guardian Art Services Celebrates Milwaukee Brewers with Flag Display
Guardian Art Services salutes the Milwaukee Brewers!
The Brewer’s flag is flying on top of Guardian Art Service’s 5-story building and 35-foot flagpole on St. Paul Avenue. Every day over 250,000 people see the flag from I94 and the Marquette interchange.
“When we bought the building 10 years ago one of the first things we did was to repair the flagpole. The pole is original to the building, but it could not be used. The halyard, the rope, was missing and the ball on the top of the pole was corroded and falling off,” said John Shannon, Founder and CEO.
“Ordinarily we fly the American flag, of course. But on special occasions we put up unique flags, such as the blue Brewer’s flag for the World Series or the forest green Buck’s flag for the NBA Championship. We’re proud to be part of this wonderful Milwaukee community.”
Guardian Art Service (guardianfineart.com) was founded 9-years ago, and provides storage and transportation for museums, institutions and private collectors in Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago and the upper Midwest. Clients include the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.
