Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport is rolling out a new tool designed to make booking flights easier.

The new tool, called “Where We Fly,” includes a map of all the destinations that can be reached via nonstop flights from Milwaukee and a searchable, interactive calendar with all the flights and travel dates available. It can be accessed via the airport’s website.

Using the “Where We Fly” tool, travelers can sort flights by airlines and travel time, or build a travel itinerary that can be saved and shared.

“This new tool eliminates the complexities of planning air travel,” said Airport Director Brian Dranzik in a statement announcing. “Whether you know exactly where you want to go and need to find the best flight time on your preferred airline, or are looking to explore destinations, the Where We Fly tool lets you do it all in one place without having to compare information across multiple websites.”

Airlines currently offer non-stop flights from Milwaukee to thirty-one unique destinations. Southwest Airlines, the airport’s busiest carrier, recently announced new nonstop flights to San Diego that will start running later this year.

The airport has worked for years on a public campaign aimed at convincing more local travelers to fly out of Milwaukee Mitchell. The goal is to increase hometown demand for the airport, thereby attracting more flights from the carriers. The airport has invested in new amenities for travelers and now a booking tool unique to the airport.

Like airports across the county, Milwaukee Mitchell’s air traffic has slowly climbed back from a low point at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2024, the airport had 6.3 million travelers pass through, bringing it closer to the pre-pandemic travel levels it saw in 2019.
