New Sports Bar and Grill for North Side
4th Quarter Sports Bar & Grill moving to Arlington Heights neighborhood.
A north side sports bar is moving to a new location.
Devida Glover plans to move The 4th Quarter Sports Bar And Grill to 1300 W. Keefe Ave., leaving its old location at 2722 N. Martin L King Jr Dr. The new sports bar on Keefe Ave. would replace Caspar’s Lounge.
The 4th Quarter serves fish, chicken tenders, salad and burgers. According to Glover, one burger is dubbed the “Granny Hope Burger,” made with a recipe from her childhood. The tavern serves corned beef and turkey burgers as well.
The Keefe Ave. location was set to open in December 2020, but liquor license is still pending before the Common Council.
Glover’s first business was the Best Friendz Klubhouse, which started at 2978 N. 10th St. The business moved to 2722 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. in 2014 and eventually transformed into The 4th Quarter three years later.
Glover told Urban Milwaukee over the phone that she had been running food and drink businesses since 2004.
City records list Luther and Betty Mae Brown as the owners of the property. Before that, Caspar Lyday owned the 2,700-square-foot, two-and-a-half-story building. One apartment is located upstairs.
