From roller derby to the Kentucky Derby (Note we are out of tickets for the Kentucky Derby event), we’ve got your weekend fun covered.
Milwaukee’s Brewcity Bruisers return for their fifth and final home bout of the season. Since 2005, the Brewcity Bruisers have been an athletic organization that fosters strong women and active engagement with the community. Strength is definitely necessary for this activity, as roller derby is a full contact sport with competing teams, real hits, and zero choreography. Yes, it’s action packed, but still fun for there whole family.

Once you become a member, you can follow this link to reserve your tickets to the Brewcity Bruisers bout, or the Derby Soirée. Both events will be held on Saturday, May 4th. Current Urban Milwaukee members are also eligible to claim up to two free tickets to these events, while supplies last.
The Brewcity Bruisers play at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, located at 400 W. Kilbourn Ave. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the first whistle blows at 6 p.m. More information can be found on their website here. Derby Day Soirée will be held at Glass + Griddle located at 1130 N. 9th St. Bottomless booze will be available from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., and the Kentucky Derby viewing will begin at 5:50 p.m. More information can be found on their website here.
