I spent lots of time in that area when young. First there were Poles, then hippies, now mellennials!
Regarding the last paragraph of this article. “Other future construction in the area, if any, would require demolition of existing structures.” The area bounded by Warren Ave, Brady St, Humboldt Ave and the Milwaukee River is a historic district. It was designated as such for the century old workman’s cottages in the area. Hopefully this will prohibit any historic structures from being demolished. Too much new construction takes away the charm and quirkiness of the Brady St neighborhood. Every neighborhood needs a little breathing room and a little green space also.
