Why worry about driving and parking? The list of easy shuttle services is long.

With over 800,000 guests packing the grounds of the 11-day Summerfest celebration each summer, driving and trying to find parking is sometimes the most difficult part. But do not fret, because there many Milwaukee restaurants and bars provide convenient shuttle services to the grounds. Summerfest also runs its own shuttle and bus services. Here is a complete guide to all these services, that should make is easy and convenient to get to the Big Gig.


The list is long. And each restaurant offers shuttles at different times and dates, so we recommend calling first to find specific times.

Bay View

Located just outside Bay View, but part of Bay View shuttle, which runs on weekdays at 4:00 p.m. and weekends (Saturday and Sunday) at 12:00 p.m. The shuttle has five spots: Frank’s Power Plant, Franky’s Newport, Tonic/Highbury, and Urban Bay View.

Straight Shots

Shuttle starts at 2:00 p.m. on weekdays and noon on weekends (Friday thru Sunday)

The Stone

Daily shuttle starting at 4:00 p.m. and back until an hour after Summerfest closes.

Flannery’s Bar & Restaurant
425 E. Wells St.
Daily shuttle starting at 4:00 pm and runs about every 10 minutes. 

Harp Irish Pub
113 E. Juneau Ave.
Shuttle starts between 5:00 p.m and 7:00 pm and runs continuously throughout the night depending on traffic.

Karma Bar and Grill
600 E. Ogden Ave.
Shuttle leaves twice an hour, weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. and weekends from noon to 1:00 a.m. Runs 45 minutes after Summerfest closes.

McGillycuddy’s Bar and Grill
1135 N. Water St.
Shuttle starts at 5:00 p.m. and runs through out the night making stops at different bars.

Miller Time Pub and Grill
509 W. Wisconsin Ave.
Shuttle runs noon – 1:00 a.m.

Milwaukee Brat House
1013 N. Old World 3rd St.
Three buses running every 10-15 minutes, starting daily at 1:00 p.m.

Mo’s Irish Pub

Shuttle runs 1 hour before and after the Festival. Free rides with a required purchase of at least one drink.

Red Rock Saloon

Shuttle runs Monday thru Friday starting at 5:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday starting at 3:00 p.m.

MCTS Downtown Shuttle

The Downton Shuttle goes directly from different spots on Wisconsin Ave. to Summerfest’s North Gate and runs every 15 minutes from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Just look for a bus stop marked with the Summerfest smiley face. Freeway Flyers

The Milwaukee County Transit System Summerfest Freeway Flyer bus system takes passengers from nine Park-Ride lots to the Summerfest Main Gates. The Freeway Flyers operates on weekdays every 30 minutes from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. and every 15 minutes from 5:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. On Saturdays and Sundays, it operates every 15-20 minutes. The Freeway Flyer costs between $3 to $7 but Pre-Fare tickets can be purchased here.

In addition, there are parking lots on the Summerfest grounds with first-come, first-serve parking. There are also specific drop-off and pick-up spots for Uber, Summerfest’s official transportation network service provider.
