The Lakefront Festival of the Art was in full swing along the lakefront this past Father’s Day weekend. Milwaukeeans browsed the promenade of artists and their work. The event offered many any other activities for festival-goers, including walking through a sculpture garden, children’s shows, beer sampling, and free art painting.

A variety of artists from all around the country and beyond were featured at the festival. Art ranged from Tanya Doskova’s magical surrealism with socio-political satire and modern folk tales to Thomas Wargin’s glimpses into the human mind through sculpture. Artist Ted Gall‘s busts opened up allowing patrons to see the tiny world within.
