His $1.8 home mixes all sorts of architectural styles and isn't visible to passers by. Perhaps just as well.

Another 7000 sq. ft. “McMansion?” I’m sorry, but I still don’t see how you can call something of that ridiculous size a McMansion. Is any large home built after the 50’s considered a McMansion? In a previous story, when I asked the same question, your response was related to build quality. Do we know about the build quality of this one?

Have to respectfully question the label on this one as well…

  2. PMD says:

Isn’t it actually 9,000 sq. ft.? And at a cost of nearly $2 million, there’s no way that’s a McMansion. Real estate site Zillow says a realtors define a mansion as anything 8,000 square feet and over, but that some argue anything 6,000 sq. ft. or more is a mansion nowadays.

  3. Tom D says:

Mayo’s house would actually be within walking distance of the bus stop at Port Washington and Bradley, but I-43 severs Bradley Rd.

  4. Kyle says:

Unless you’re counting unfinished basement space or the garage in your square footage calculation, I’m not sure how you got to “Over 9000 square feet”. Or have you been correcting the square footage of every house you cover to include unfinished basements and garages? As best I can tell, the standard is to list only above ground space in the square footage, but I suppose “Under 6000 square feet” doesn’t fit your narrative.

    sh*t be wack yo

I’m his cousin from Columbus Ohio. Why do you care about this? What size is your house, or do you have one. Straight up HATERS. Get a life. Tonya Mayo-Lassiter
