Brady Street Festival

With music, food, art, fashion shows, pro wrestling and camel rides, it was all happening on Brady Street.

From 11 a.m. until midnight on Saturday, the nine-block stretch of Brady Street was bursting with activity and maybe just a kitchen sink short of having everything you could dream up. In no particular order, the Brady Street Festival offered live music, food and drink, art, clothing, fashion shows, professional wrestling, jewelry, BMX bicycle stunts, a bounce house, free cheese and camel rides. The annual festival closed the entirety of the street to automobile traffic, turning it over to vendors and performers as diverse as the area residents can be. Our photos capture the action.

The Brady Street Festival is in my neighborhood and I’m wondering if 40,000 people were there this year (as were last year, do you know?). Thank you for the photos, they’re highly appreciated!
