Dean Jensen unveils a “Queen of the Air”

The well-known gallery owner has a career as an author as well, and his newest novel, "Queen of the Air," follows Lillian Leitzel, a famous aerialist. Kat catches up with Jensen in this video by Gene Cawley.

Dean Jensen is well-known in Milwaukee art circles as a successful gallerist, but he also enjoys a successful career as an author. His new book, Queen of the Air, chronicles the life of circus legend Lillian Leitzel, a aerialist whose talents brought her worldwide fame and more than a few tangled romances.

TCD’s Kat Murrell caught up with Jensen for more on this “true story of love & tragedy at the circus.”

Queen of the Air is published by Random House. Dean Jensen will be at Boswell Books on Thursday, June 13 at 7 p.m.
