Milwaukee Innovation Week

Milwaukee is a great city for new ideas. Through Milwaukee Innovation Week, organizations like MiKE (Innovation in Milwaukee) are working to build Milwaukee’s reputation as a center of innovation.

Milwaukee Innovation Week is being held all over the city from June 6 – 11. I talked with Laurel Osman of MiKE and Angela Damiani of event co-sponsor Art Milwaukee about the week’s events, such as COMMON Pitch Milwaukee at Turner Hall Ballroom (see embedded video below), the Kohl’s Idea Challenge, and other events being held at Open MiKE at the Shops of Grand Avenue. Events take place each day of the week, the majority of which are free.
