Community Gardening Workshop

Community Gardening Workshop

In 2011, MUG celebrates ten years of serving citizens of Milwaukee. We will be holding events monthly to celebrate and help promote community gardening in Milwaukee. In February, join MUG for a community gardening workshop. Come learn about how to start a community garden or discuss how to make your community garden better. Apply for City permits and hydrant permits and talk with other community gardeners. MUG is a part of the good food revolution and urban agriculture movement going on in this city and across the country. We are a land trust, which means we buy land, lease land, or acquire easements in order to secure land for gardens and community-managed open space. Location: Urban Ecology Center 1500 East Park Place Milwaukee, WI, 53211
