The Skyline Music Series at Kadish Park

By - Aug 22nd, 2011 04:00 am

Summertime in Milwaukee means many festivals on the weekends, as well as weekday concert series in the park. From Bayshore to Bay View, the lakefront to the shores of Pewaukee Lake, crowds on beautiful evenings have enjoyed this season many relaxing (and free!) events while taking in local music and food.

Each Tuesday, the Riverwest neighborhood features the Skyline Music Series, hosted by the COA Youth and Family Centers. Skyline is a more intimate affair set on the rolling hill of Kadish Park, with spectacular views of the city.

Families and friends enjoyed the Afro-Cuban/Latin Jazz of De La Buena this past Tuesday. We sent summer photo intern Dylan Huebner to capture the scene and he came back with this gallery.

Skyline Music Series runs Tuesday, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m., in Kadish Park. August 23 marks the close of the free weekly festival with a performance from the Five Card Studs. For more information, click here
