MF’10 is almost here. And we’re there.

Still from “Azur and Asmar”, screening as part of the Take One Children’s Film Festival, part of the 2010 Milwaukee Film Festival
Curious about your most-anticipated festival picks? Wondering if you should spend time and money on an unknown cinematic adventure? We’ll do our best here to hit the high points, to act your spirit guides or simply to stir a little friendly debate on the merits of each of the films we’re covering. Check back every day for new stories and lots of pictures and video.
And kick off the festival right with a swanky party. It’s tomorrow night at Discovery World, following the 7 p.m. screening of one of fest’s most highly anticipated films, Blue Valentine. It’s free to get in with your stub from that show, or just $10 to enjoy two complimentary Grey Goose drinks plus appetizers, live music and more – more, of course, meaning in part the opportunity to hobnob with filmmakers, actors and other festival notables. See you there. To be reviewed or previewed on TCD during the Milwaukee Film Festival:
