Polish vodka!

Launching a new series, whether it be video, text or podcast, is always exciting but a little scary. What’s if it’s boring, or worse, just plain dumb? Fortunately, the TCD staff isn’t much concerned about looking stupid, as long as we’re having a good time doing it.

So this summer we invite you to follow us around town as we attempt to find out what’s up with stuff we’re all wondering about. And by “all” I mean the people who work here. We wouldn’t presume to know what you’re wondering about, unless you tell us (opportunity below).

For our first installment, I trekked, with TCD Managing Editor Erin Petersen, to Polish Fest. On our minds: What’s up with Polish vodka? What makes it special? And, most importantly, does it taste great and knock you on your butt?

The answers are contained in the video below. Please forgive any raucousness that resulted directly from our research. Na zdrowie!

On deck: What’s up with frozen custard, and what’s up with all those different lettuces at the farmers market?

Got an idea? Email Erin here or leave a comment. We’re game for pretty much anything that can be pulled off with a Flip camera and access to your backstage area.
