The Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors will host its annual Public Hearing on the County Executive’s 2010 Recommended Budget, including amendments by the County Board’s Finance and Audit Committee, Monday evening. All residents are invited to attend and provide testimony to all Supervisors. Public Hearing on 2010 Milwaukee County Budget Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors Monday, November 2, 2009, 7:00 p.m. Washington Park Senior Center, Main Hall 4420 W. Vliet Street, Milwaukee, WI The full County Board will consider all amendments passed by the Finance and Audit Committee when adopting the 2010 County Budget on Monday, November 9 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 200 of the Milwaukee County Courthouse. Any vetoes from the County Executive will be considered at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18.

Hart Park Weedout & Cleanup
Please join the Friends of Hart Park for their Fall 2009 Weed Out and Menomonee River Clean-Up. The Friends of Hart Park is a non-profit organization whose goal is to promote the preservation of Hart Park. Please visit their web site at www.ihartpark.com for further information about The Friends of Hart Park. The event will take place Saturday November 7, 2009 from 9am- noon. They are looking for volunteers to help with pulling weeds and cleaning up along the Menomonee River at Hart Park. They will be meeting outside the Park Office (7300 W. Chestnut) at 9am. They will be supplying bags. Please bring gloves, sheers and any supplies that you think will be beneficial for the clean-up.
