So many condos. I’m amazed they’re still being built, how do they sell them all?
Well the Breakwaters developer is especially good at selling his units and had many many pre-sold even before approvals. Park Lafayette is a bit of a mystery as they don’t report units sold, though that is a large Chicago firm that I believe can ride out the storm if needed. As far as The Residences on Water well I’d be a bit concerned about that one, as despite the building being in my opinion pretty nice I don’t believe they’ve sold many units yet.
The word on the street is the asking price per square at the Residences on Water is one of the highest in the city. We’re talking around the same level as Kilbourn Tower and neighboring University Club Tower. That was true at one point, not sure if that holds true anymore.
