WisGOP Statement on Legislature Republicans’ Tax Cut
[Madison, WI] – Following the announcement of Legislature Republicans’ proposed $3.4 billion tax cut, the Republican Party of Wisconsin released the following statement from Chairman Andrew Hitt:
“While Tony Evers wants to ask taxpayers to fund divisive programs and $1 billion in tax hikes following a pandemic, Republicans are putting middle-class Wisconsinites first. We applaud Legislature Republicans for spearheading these historic tax cuts that will help ignite the economy and place power in the hands of Wisconsin families — not big government.”
