WisDOT announces public meeting for National Avenue (WIS 59) project
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), in partnership with the City of Milwaukee, will host a public involvement meeting on two separate dates to share the proposed alternative for public feedback on the National Avenue (WIS 59) project. The proposed project would rebuild W. National Avenue (WIS 59), between 1st Street and 39th Street, to improve travel and safety for all modes of transportation.

Saturday, June 10 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) 816 W. National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53204 |
These meetings will be held in an open-house format with maps and other materials showing design details available for viewing. Project representatives will be present to discuss the project on an individual basis.
