Wisconsin State Fair Secures Lynyrd Skynyrd for the Bank Five Nine Main Stage

Wisconsin State Fair officials announced rock powerhouse Lynyrd Skynyrd will serve up their classic Southern rock hits that transcend time at the newly-titled Bank Five Nine Main Stage on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025 at 7:30 p.m.

Lynyrd Skynyrd remains a cultural icon that appeals to all generations. More than a half century after the release of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s critically acclaimed debut album, Pronounced ‘Lĕh-‘nérd ‘Skin-‘nérd, they continue to resonate just as deeply with their multi-generational fanbase today as they did when they first emerged out of Jacksonville, Florida in 1973. With an iconic sound that embodies the very soul of Southern rock, classic songs like “Free Bird,” “Sweet Home Alabama,” and “Simple Man” are sure to have the crowd on their feet. A special guest will be announced soon to open the show.

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 14 at 10:00 a.m. at WiStateFair.com. All seating for this show is reserved, and tickets will be $70 – $90. Each ticket includes admission to the 2025 Wisconsin State Fair for the day of the show when purchased prior to entering the State Fair Park.
