Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes Endorses Israel Ramón for Register of Deeds
Lt. Gov. sees Ramón as true progressive leader, reforms working
MILWAUKEE – Israel Ramón, Milwaukee County Register of Deeds, today announced the support of Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes in his campaign to retain his office as Register of Deeds. He is running for election in the August 11, 2020 Primary.
Barnes stated, “Israel Ramón has led a notable career as an attorney and has been a dedicated member of the community, often representing the interests of community organizations and those in need. When Governor Evers appointed him as Register of Deeds, I fully supported Israel as the best choice to lead Milwaukee County in a new direction. His progressive reforms are working, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with him and seeing the impact of his work in the coming years. I hope you join me, and Governor Evers, in calling on everyone to vote for Israel Ramón in this Democratic primary.”
Ramón stated, “Lieutenant Governor Barnes has already shown the people of Wisconsin that he is a dedicated progressive leader who is working on the issues that have generational outcomes, like climate change and healthcare. He knows well what it means to take a long-term approach to solving problems, and I’m honored to have his support in my bid to serve a full term as Register of Deeds.”
