Jonathan Ward
Wangard Partners continues its pursuit of hiring the best talent to enhance service offerings to clients. Our latest strategic hires include Jonathan Ward, MSPPM, of Wauwatosa, as Development Project Manager and Julie Simcock, of Hales Corners as Senior Financial Analyst.
Jonathan has over 12 years of experience in real estate development with an emphasis in urban redevelopment. His banking and financing background and experience in private development, city planning and tax credit financing gives him a unique advantage on the development process. Jonathan’s private development expertise includes financing over $100 million in new mixed-use and retail redevelopment as well as New Market Tax Credit support. Jonathan’s chief role at Wangard will include creating financial strategies for the funding of developments as well as identifying new development opportunities, performing due diligence and securing entitlements. Jonathan earned his Masters of Science degree in Public Policy and Management from the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University.
Julie Simcock
Julie’s key role will involve assisting the Investor Relations and Development teams at Wangard. She is responsible for evaluating the financial feasibility of acquisition and development opportunities and performing property valuations to support asset management and financing decisions. Julie also has experience with due diligence, advanced financial modeling, market studies, appraisals, and financial reporting. She has a BBA from UW-Madison and an MBA from DePaul University that was focused on Real Estate Finance and Investment. Julie is a member of NAIOP and the Urban Land Institute’s Young Leader Group and is Argus certified.
