Walk or run for better health – tomorrow
The goal of the event is to get urban dwellers to re-think nutrition, exercise and healthy choices.
Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs will be taking part in the 1st Annual G.R.I.N.D. (Gee’s Run In a New Direction) on Saturday, June 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Estabrook Park, one block east of Port Washington and Hampton Avenue in the 6th District.
The 5K walk/run is organized by Gaulien “Gee” Smith of Gee’s Clippers and African World Festival. The goal of the event is to get urban dwellers to re-think nutrition, exercise and healthy choices.
