VISIT Milwaukee Launches MKE Toolkit
“Selling Milwaukee” Made Easy for Local Businesses
Local businesses will gain fresh inspiration and answers to the question “Why Milwaukee?” from VISIT Milwaukee’s recently launched comprehensive online MKE Toolkit. The toolkit provides key resources to all companies, organizations and educational institutions in the community for their business purposes.
In response to feedback from its corporate partners, VISIT Milwaukee created a toolkit that provides a one-stop-shop of information which can be used to “sell Milwaukee” for purposes of corporate talent recruitment and retention, marketing strategies and corporate conference planning.
According to VISIT Milwaukee President & CEO Paul Upchurch, “The Greater Milwaukee area is a vibrant region that combines major amenities like dining, nightlife, arts and natural beauty. Easy, affordable and fun, Milwaukee is a great place to live and work. This toolkit provides everything needed to show off our community as a great destination, which contributes to the bottom line of local businesses.”
The toolkit features a sampling of city stats and fact sheets, keywords, prepared copy descriptions, maps and guides. Online resources including event calendars, a full range of downloadable images, videos and b-roll, suggested itineraries, and links to DearMKE films and social media channels.
“As the city’s destination marketing organization, we have many resources for promoting Milwaukee to tourists and convention planners. We created the MKE Toolkit to share these resources with area businesses that can leverage the materials for their own business purposes,” said Upchurch.
The MKE Toolkit can be accessed on the VISIT Milwaukee website here.
