Cathedral Square Park (Jackson and Wells)

On Friday, December 14, at 6:00 pm, concerned members of Milwaukee’s community will gather to commemorate today’s loss of life in Connecticut and to call for a sensible gun policy.

Today’s shooting left 20 children and 7 adults dead.  Families across the country are mourning this loss of life (including President Obama and his family).  Tonight, we mourn together.

We also demand that action be taken so that these travesties cease to happen, and we can be safe to go to school, go to church, or walk down our streets without fear of gun violence.

Sponsored by Peace Action Wisconsin, Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort, and the Overpass Light Brigade.
