Milwaukee (Jan. 7, 2020) – The holidays are a time for giving and in honor of the season, UScellular supported the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee with a gift of $15,000. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee used the funds to purchase gifts and wrapping supplies for hundreds of toys that were given to each member. UScellular’s gift to

the Milwaukee Clubs is part of $110,000 in funding that supported 24 Boys & Girls Clubs across the country.

“2020 has been a challenging time and we wanted to give back and spread some cheer,” Kristy Baron, Director of Sales at UScellular for Wisconsin said. “Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee has faced plenty of obstacles during this pandemic, yet it continues to support our local youth every day. We hope this support provides some enjoyment for the members and captures our way of saying ‘thank you’ to all the staff.”

“This was truly a blessing for our club members, says Deonte Lewis, Philanthropy Officer at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. “2020 brought many challenges but it was supporters like UScellular that pushed us through to be successful this year.”

Earlier this year, UScellular provided $55,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs across Wisconsin to support the Club’s COVID-19 relief efforts. For more information about UScellular’s corporate responsibility initiatives, please go to www.uscellular.com/about/community-outreach.
