Milwaukee, WI – September 25, 2017 – The historic Pabst Mansion is now celebrating its 125th Anniversary. Following a record-breaking July Open House held in conjunction with a Pabst Family Reunion with family members from around the world in attendance, they continue to celebrate this significant anniversary year. A series of upcoming events through the end of the year will highlight the importance of this beautiful house museum, as well as the legacy of the Pabst family on the vitality of the Milwaukee community.
OCTOBER PABST MANSION EVENTS
Retro Beer Night: October 6, 2017
6:00-8:00pm
Join the Pabst Mansion for an evening of beer tasting, brats and dogs, and the sounds of live polka music by Jeff Winard Polka Party at Milwaukee’s favorite mansion! Sample the legends of beer: Pabst, Schlitz, Blatz and Old Milwaukee; and participate in their annual Breweriana Silent Auction featuring terrific auction items including new, retro and antique beer memorabilia.
This year Dr. Dawg will be making a house call and his famous food truck will be serving up great eats! Truly a perfect night to celebrate Milwaukee’s brewing past and toast to its future! An added fun feature for the evening will be a Wear Your Best Beer Gear contest! Compete for special Pabst Mansion memorabilia package and two cases of Pabst beer. The winner will be announced at 7:30pm. Product Sponsorship by the Pabst Brewing Company.

Grand Tour Day: October 7, 2017
10:00-3:15pm
Enjoy the rare opportunity to see the entirety of the historic Pabst Mansion! On this special day, visitors will be allowed to explore all 20,000 square feet of the beer baron’s mansion. From basement to attic, visitors will be able to view all the nooks and crannies of Milwaukee’s favorite Victorian mansion. Docents will be available to answer any questions, and a complimentary self-guide printed brochure to the Pabst Mansion is included with the price of admission. Last entry is at 3:15pm. No reservations are needed. Members receive free admission; $15 for non-members.
Murder Mystery Dinner: October 13, 2017
6:30-9:30pm
What better way to spend Friday the 13th than solving a murder mystery at Milwaukee’s Pabst Mansion? In partnership with Get Away with Murder Productions, the Pabst Mansion is serving up cocktails and a three-course dinner while guests try to solve a cold murder case that was part of a feud in Ragtime! Guest participation is highly encouraged but not required in order to have the best Friday the 13th ever! Tickets are $165 and must be purchased before the event. For more info call: 414-931-0808. A Grand Avenue Christmas

One of Milwaukee’s Grandest Holiday Traditions—A Grand Avenue Christmas at the Pabst Mansion! Generations of families have come to the Mansion to bask in the splendor of the holiday decorations and the splendor of the house itself! Nothing compares to visiting Milwaukee’s Mansion at the holidays. Three floors are open to the public and every child 16 and younger is invited to visit the Mansion for free during the holiday season, sponsored by BMO Financial Group. $12.50 for adults; children 16 and under are free.
A Grand Avenue Christmas Gala

A special preview night everyone looks forward to each year! Enjoy a special evening at the Pabst Mansion with delicious hors d’oeuvres and champagne while listening to traditional Christmas music. Get into a great holiday mood and celebrate at the Pabst Mansion! $25 for Members; $40 for non-members.
Dinner and a Show
Thursday, December 7 and 14 and Saturday, December 16
Partake in a Dinner and a Show the way Captain and Mrs. Pabst did! Guests will begin the evening with a glass of wine before they are seated for dinner and experience a wonderfully prepared dinner by Shully’s Cuisine. Following dinner, guests will descend the grand staircase to board a luxury motor coach that will take them to the historic Pabst Theater to attend the Milwaukee Repertory Theater’s annual production of Charles Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol. Following the production, guests will be returned to the Pabst Mansion. Only 20 seats available per evening—enjoy something truly extraordinary this holiday season! Cost $175 for adults; $85 for children.
Christmas Twilight Tours at the Pabst Mansion
November 24, 2017 and December 22, 2017
6:00-8:00pm
The evening open house invites guests to enjoy the Pabst Mansion by the glow of the original light fixtures and illuminated Christmas trees. Self-guided tours take guests through each room filled with holiday cheer. Enjoy light refreshments and a live performance by zitherist, Kurt Eckroth, and vocalist, Megan Eckroth. $15 for adults; $8 for children, under 6 are free.
