Two-week Closure of Michigan Avenue Exit Ramp in City of Milwaukee
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is notifying motorists of an upcoming closure of the I-43 northbound exit ramp to Michigan Avenue in the city of Milwaukee. Starting on Sunday evening, November 26, crews will begin repairing a section of the sidewall along the exit ramp. This northbound exit ramp is scheduled to remain closed for approximately 12 days. To safely complete this work, crews will also require intermittent off-peak-hour closures of the I-43 southbound system ramp to eastbound I-794, which travels underneath the Michigan Avenue exit ramp. This work is weather dependent and subject to change.
