TosaFest to celebrate and support Wauwatosa in wake of flooding, Sept. 5-6
TosaFest, presented by Refined & Co., features a new slate of VIP Experiences and a buzzworthy live music line-up
WAUWATOSA, WISCONSIN, August 21, 2025—Severe flooding has not dampened spirits in the Village of Wauwatosa, where TosaFest— the long-running street fest featuring live music, food, and more since 1976—will go on as scheduled Sept. 5-6.
marketplace vendors, unique TosaFest VIP dining and art Experiences, a Kids Zone with free inflatables, and much more.
“The Village is open for business, and right now our flood recovery depends on continued traffic to our shops and restaurants,” says Maria Panno, Executive Director of the Wauwatosa Village Business Improvement District. “We hope TosaFest will be a chance to celebrate and support what makes Tosa great: Unique shopping and dining and a community spirit that can’t be broken by a little water.”
Consistently voted one of Milwaukee’s best street festivals, this year’s TosaFest music lineup does not disappoint. Headlining acts on the Crivello Nichols & Hall State Street Stage include ‘80s New Wave tribute band Radio Radio on Friday, Sept. 5, while rock and roll and ska party band Something To Do take the stage on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Rounding out the music schedule are 90s rockers Landline, the genre-blending Paul Cebar Tomorrow Sound, Old Sam and the Teardrops, Ben Mulwana and the Village, the Donna Woodall Group, the Hot & Dirty Brass Band, Wire & Nail, and more.
New this year are several of TosaFest’s VIP Experiences, which aim to take the typical streetfest vibe to the next level. New options include a “Sunset Picnic for Two” with The Village Cheese Shop, a Cribbage Tournament on Saturday afternoon, and a Friday Night Fish Fry with legendary French restaurant Le Reve. Popular returning experiences include an evening reception with Eddie Martini’s and The Ruby Tap, and “Rosé & Bouquet,” a floral arranging and wine experience.
“We’re incredibly proud of what this festival has become,” says Panno. “It highlights the best our community brings, and above all, it’s just a great time for everyone.”
TosaFest will be held on State Street between Harmonee Ave. and Wauwatosa Ave. and along Underwood and Harwood Avenues. The festival will run Sept. 5 from 5 p.m.-11 p.m., and Sept. 6, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. For more information, visit www.wauwatosavillage.org/tosafest.
