Thursday: Ascension St. Joseph Fall Festival

Alderman Khalif J. Rainey invites all residents to attend the Ascension St. Joseph Fall Festival on Thursday November 8, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be activities for all ages, including interactive games, music, healthy snacks and giveaways.

The event will feature a job fair, health screenings for diabetes, high blood pressure tests and flu shots, as well as resources and information on other health and wellness topics.

“This is an exciting opportunity for residents to access resources, explore opportunities and take charge of their own health. I encourage everyone who has the opportunity to attend this event,” Alderman Rainey said.

The FREE event will also include programs such as Blanket of Love and Hunger Task Force Stockbox for Seniors. The event will be held at the Ascension St. Joseph Hospital at 5000 W. Chambers St.
