Milwaukee, WI (August, 2023) – The Shorewood Business Improvement District (BID) will host the 4th Annual North Shore Bank Shorewood Feast presented by the Shorewood Foundation on Saturday, September 9th from Noon – 9:00 p.m. This family friendly festival takes place on the 4200 – 4400 blocks of North Oakland Avenue. “The BID has worked for months to find, schedule, and sponsor a terrific line-up of entertainment for all ages,” said Janet Henning, executive director of the Shorewood BID. “We think this is a great way to celebrate and showcase Shorewood and so many of the things we offer here: unique artists, amazing food and great live music.”

While visiting the Feast, event attendees can help spread kindness by stopping by the North Shore Bank tent to write, color, and send a kindness postcard and share a thoughtful note on the “Be Kind” photo wall. Guests can also take a break and unwind in North Shore Bank’s lounge area or expel some energy playing lawn games like Connect 4 and giant Jenga. There is also an opportunity for attendees to capture the moment and take home a commemorative “Be Kind” Polaroid photo in celebration of North Shore Bank’s 100th anniversary and enter the Shorewood Feast Giveaway for a chance to win $500 in gift cards to use at local restaurants. Entries will be accepted between August 25 and September 9. To learn more, visit https://www.shorewoodwi.com/events/shorewood-feast/.

“North Shore Bank had its start in Shorewood 100 years ago and we’re thrilled to continue our long-lasting relationship with the community as the title sponsor of the Shorewood Feast. As a community bank, one of our initiatives is to find meaningful, fun, and special ways to carry out acts of kindness with our Bank on Kindness initiative, and we are excited to bring these fun activities to help spread kindness in Shorewood,” said Shannon Weber, AVP and branch manager of the North Shore Bank in Shorewood. “We look forward to coming together with everyone for live music, greats eats, and fun with family and friends as we celebrate the bank’s centennial birthday in Shorewood where we started in 1923.”
