Broadway smash Hamilton is coming to Milwaukee’s Marcus Performing Arts Center, and The Bartolotta Restaurants is welcoming the show and its fans with a specially-themed “Colonial Pre-Broadway Show Dinner” at The Rumpus Room – A Bartolotta Gastropub!

  • Guests can immerse themselves in the colonial era and dine like it’s 1776 from October 22 to November 17. Dinners will be hosted in the private party space, The Room, which will be decorated in festive red, white, and blue with accompanying period fife and drum music. Each dinner will begin with a brief reading of key parts of the Declaration of Independence, and guests will walk away with complimentary party favors that enhance the colonial experience. Dinner will begin two hours prior to curtain time for daily and nightly presentations of Hamilton.
  • The menu, prepared by Executive Chef Andrew Koser, includes Boston Lettuce Salet, Tavern Ale-Braised Short Ribs of Beef, and a Colonial Apple Crumble Tart. The Rumpus Room will also serve a wide selection of themed beverages, including Sam Adams beer, The Federalist Wines, Jefferson Bourbon, Hot Mulled Apple Cider, and two specialty cocktails, “The Betsy Ross” and “Red White & Blue.”
  • Dinners are priced at 5.5 “Hamilton’s” or 55 “Washington’s” ($55) per person, plus tax and gratuity. Guests can make pre-paid reservations via visiting The Bartolotta Restaurants website, or by calling 414-292-0100.
  • The Rumpus Room – A Bartolotta Gastropub combines approachable food with a solid craft beer and cocktail program to create a laidback and appealing downtown destination. The Rumpus Room embraces a casual dining experience – emphasizing Wisconsin products whenever possible – with an extensive beverage program that incorporates 25 drafts with 150 domestic, craft, and rare beers that you don’t have to leave the country to taste.
