Suspect Criminally Charged in Connection to Striking an Officer with a Vehicle

MILWAUKEE, WI – On Tuesday, August 29, 2023, the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office issued criminal charges against Timothy X. Jinor-Riley for striking an officer with a vehicle. The incident occurred on Friday, August 25, 2023, on the 7000 block of N. Port Washington Road. Officers observed a wanted suspect with two other individuals exit a hotel. The suspect and the individuals entered a vehicle as officers approached and attempted to make contact. The suspects attempted to flee in their vehicle, struck a Milwaukee Police Officer and pinned him against an unmarked police truck. The officer discharged his firearm, striking two suspects. The third suspect fled on foot but was apprehended. A firearm was recovered. No other law enforcement officers discharged their firearms.

Jinor-Riley was charged with one count of First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping. If convicted, he could face up to 24 years and 6 months in prison and fined up to $45,000.
