Supervisor Vincent Thanks Parks Department for Efforts as Zablocki Golf Course Reopens After Nine-Month Renovation
GREENFIELD – Zablocki Golf Course is officially open to the public again following a nine-month closure for improvements. Earlier today, a ribbon cutting ceremony marked the reopening of the community course.
Milwaukee County Supervisor Kathleen Vincent, whose district includes Zablocki Park, expressed her gratitude to the parks department in the following statement:
“I extend my sincere appreciation to the Milwaukee County Parks Department for bringing this vision to life. I’m proud to say our very own Zablocki Golf Course is now the first synthetic golf course in the state of Wisconsin. Golfers can enjoy this new synthetic playing surface year-round, weather permitting. Zablocki Park is a significant asset to Greenfield, and I am thrilled to welcome golfers from all over to enjoy these new amenities. This course is the perfect place to spend a day, whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a newcomer to the sport.”
