Supervisor Patti Logsdon Celebrates Yaskawa America’s New Franklin Headquarters
MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Supervisor Patti Logsdon joined Governor Tony Evers, WEDC leadership, Yaskawa America executives, Franklin Mayor John Nelson, and dozens of community partners on June 13 for a landmark announcement: Yaskawa America’s $180 million investment and relocation of its North American headquarters to Franklin, Wisconsin.
“It was a privilege to attend the event with Governor Evers, Missy Hughes from WEDC, and Mike Knapek of Yaskawa and to celebrate this commitment to our region’s future.” She added, “I was proud to represent the County Board in person and offer my heartfelt thanks to everyone who made today possible.
“I’d also like to give a special shout-out to former Franklin Mayor Steve Olson, whose good working relationship with Missy Hughes and Mike Knapek and early outreach laid the groundwork for today’s announcement. Today wouldn’t have been possible without his efforts.”
