Supervisor Nicholson to Attend Young Elected Officials Network Women’s Conference to take place in New York City Jan. 31-Feb. 3
A new generation of young elected women from across the U.S. to convene for skills-building and leadership development
Washington, D.C.— Supervisor Marcelia Nicholson and other young progressive elected women from across the country and from every level of government will convene in New York City on Jan. 31 for a four-day conference held by the Young Elected Officials (YEO) Network, a nonpartisan program of People For the American Way Foundation.
The YEO Network Women’s Conference will help women-identifying attendees prepare for the challenges of navigating public office, provide them with the continued professional development they seek, and elevate their voices and leadership within the progressive movement.
A majority of this event will be open to press and streamed live on the YEO Network’s Facebook page at facebook.com/youngelectedofficials.
