Supervisor Eckblad to Participate in Mitchell Airport Park Playground Groundbreaking Monday
MILWAUKEE – Supervisor Jack Eckblad invites the public to the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Mitchell Airport Park playground on Monday, October 14, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at 4446 S Logan Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207. The current playground at Mitchell Airport Park has some of the oldest equipment in the County’s park system.
“I’m very grateful to our hard-working County Parks staff for bringing this much-needed upgrade to this playground, which has been part of our park system for nearly 30 years,” said Supervisor Eckblad. “The new design will create a more welcoming and fun spot for families in the neighborhood.”
Construction will begin immediately after the groundbreaking, with the playground expected to open in spring 2025.
