Supervisor Dimitrijevic Celebrates Season Opening of South Shore Terrace
The South Shore Terrace is located in a renovated 1930's era boathouse in South Shore Park.
MILWAUKEE – County Supervisor Marina Dimitrijevic joined Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele, Acting Parks Director Guy Smith, and several community leaders Wednesday to celebrate the seasonal opening of the South Shore Terrace beer garden and kitchen.
“South Shore Park and the South Shore Terrace are great examples of how Milwaukee County and local business can work together to create beautiful public spaces and generate revenue for our parks. I hope my neighbors in Bay View and residents across Milwaukee County will make time to visit South Shore Terrace this season and enjoy this one of a kind beer garden,” said Dimitrijevic.
The South Shore Terrace is located in a renovated 1930’s era boathouse in South Shore Park, and includes a kitchen with a full menu, indoor and outdoor seating, and the “Miller 1855” bar.
Milwaukee County has invested several million dollars in upgrades to South Shore Park in the past few years that are focused on improving water quality at South Shore Beach.
