Supervisor David L. Sartori to Attend 82nd National Association of Counties Conference in Columbus, OH

At the conference Sartori will participate in issue based discussion groups with hundreds of elected officials from across the nation to learn best practices for addressing common policy challenges faced by county governments, and in participate crafting the NACO platform.

MILWAUKEE – This weekend County Supervisor David L. Sartori will meet with fellow elected officials and staff from county governments across the United States in Columbus, Ohio, at the 82nd annual National Conference and Exposition of the National Association of Counties (NACO).

At the conference Sartori will participate in issue based discussion groups with hundreds of elected officials from across the nation to learn best practices for addressing common policy challenges faced by county governments, and in participate crafting the NACO platform.

Supervisor Sartori is paying for his travel expenses and will represent Milwaukee County as an alternate voting delegate.

The NACO Annual Conference & Exposition draws a cross section of elected officials and county staff from across the country. Attendees from rural and urban counties, large and small budgets and staff – all come together for four days of education, networking and sessions aimed to help improve residents’ lives and the efficiency of county government.

“I’m very excited to participate in this year’s convening of the National Association of Counties, and looking forward to learning strategies for addressing issues that we all face. I want to make Milwaukee County a better place to live and work, and I’m eager to learn from my peers around the country and share my experiences as a Milwaukee County Supervisor,” said Sartori.

The 2017 National Association of Counties annual conference will take place from July 21 to July 24 in Columbus, OH.
