Supervisor Coggs-Jones Encourages Public Participation at Upcoming Listen & Learn Session

MILWAUKEE – On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM County Supervisor Priscilla E. Coggs-Jones will host her 2nd Listen & Learn Session at the Northcott Neighborhood House. The meeting will feature brief remarks and conversation with Supervisor Coggs-Jones, and representatives from the Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services Division of Aging and Disability Services. County Supervisor Priscilla E. Coggs-Jones made the following statement:  

“When we educate the community on the programs and services available to them, we empower individuals to improve their own health outcomes. Seeing neighbors better their physical, mental, and emotional well-being is a reward in and of itself,” said Supervisor Coggs-Jones “My thanks goes out to our panel, for sharing their wealth of knowledge with residents of the incredible 13th District.” 

The event intends to further educate District 13 on services provided to residents by Milwaukee County. 

 

The event will be held at 2460 N. 6th St, the Northcott Neighborhood House, a multi-purpose community center which services the 53212 and surrounding zip code neighborhoods. 

Information and Outreach Coordinator for Aging and Disability Services Michelle R. Allison, Administrator of Aging and Disabilities Services Dr. Marietta Luster, and Deputy Director of Milwaukee County’s Department of Health & Human Services David Muhammad will be present to participate in conversation, and answer questions from members of the community.
