Summerfest and Aurora Health Care Shine the Spotlight on the Aurora Pavilion Lineup, Latin Music Day, Festival Services, and More

MILWAUKEE, WI – Summerfest presented by American Family Insurance and Aurora Health Care, the festival’s official health care sponsor, are proud to once again deliver unforgettable live music, events, and essential services to enhance the Summerfest experience for attendees.

Throughout the nine days of Summerfest, the Aurora Pavilion Stage will be the place to be with music, nightly DJ themed takeovers, and more. Located near Summerfest’s Mid Gate, the Aurora Pavilion offers an inclusive, high-energy destination. Fans can catch performances from an eclectic range of artists – from The Family Stone’s 50th anniversary to The Mountain Goats, Baha Men, Sudan Archives, Alejandro Escovedo, Dexter and The Moonrocks, and more. Each day ends with a curated dance party, as part of the Soundwaves DJ series at the Auora Pavilion, hosted by local and national DJs, including Hipster Disco Indie Hits with DJ Nico at Nite on June 19, Mr. New York will be hosting “We Belong Together – A R&B Party at Summerfest on June 26, Women in Music featured with DJ GIRLNEXTDOOR on July 2, and more. On Saturday, June 27 during Summerfest, the Aurora Pavilion will be the home for Latin Music Day presented by Aurora Health Care, with support from Telemundo Wisconsin. Highlights include:

  • A full day of Latin and salsa rhythms featuring Mariachi Sol De Mexico, Junior Rivera, and more
  • Noon to 2:45 p.m. – FREE interactive dance instruction led by local studio, Tempo Dance Co. Fans of all experience levels are invited to learn Latin dance styles

Aurora Health Care continues its longstanding commitment to fans through their support of essential festival services at Summerfest, including:

  • First Aid Station – located behind the Generac Power Stage
  • Complimentary “Sun and Sani” stations offering free sunscreen and hand sanitizer throughout the park
  • Aurora Health Care Nursing Suite – a private, convenient space for nursing parents, located on the south end of the grounds
  • Aurora Health Care Healthy Menu – highlighting nutritious food and beverage options
  • Lost Children’s Area and Children’s ID Wristbands – located near the Mid Gate, helping pair parent/guardian information with child and reunite families in the event of separation

Before the festival officially kicks off, Aurora Health Care invites the community to get energized at Rock On to Wellness, a FREE outdoor fitness event on Saturday, June 13 at Urban Park, just outside Summerfest’s North Gate. The event features a live workout led by Orangetheory Fitness and Aurora Health Care yoga instructors, music from DJ Shawna, food and beverage samples, shopping, and giveaways including Summerfest tickets.
