Summer Favorite ArtBlaze Reveals 2026 Lineup of Music, Dance and Interactive Art on Milwaukee’s Lakefront
Free series returns with free experiences for the community

MILWAUKEE — Joy Engine today unveiled the entertainment lineup for ArtBlaze 2026, its free summer-long celebration of art, music, movement, and community returning to Milwaukee’s lakefront on July 30, August 6, and August 20.
Returning for its third season, ArtBlaze transforms public spaces into playgrounds of creativity featuring giant inflatable sculptures by Milwaukee’s FuzzPop Workshop, live music, dance performances, wellness activities, interactive art experiences, food vendors, waterside s’mores, and the return of the popular Silent Disco. This year’s eclectic and exciting lineup features some of the best rising stars in Milwaukee’s hip hop, electronic, indie, and dance scenes.

The centerpiece of this year’s experience will once again be a new large-scale inflatable art installation by FuzzPop Workshop (more to be revealed next month), created in collaboration with students from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Architecture & Urban Planning.
“ArtBlaze brings accessible, immersive art to public spaces, infusing joy and wonder into places that already belong to the community,” said Steph Salvia, Executive Director of Joy Engine. “People might come for the music or the art, but what we really hope they leave with is a sense of connection to the city and to each other.”
Accessibility remains central to ArtBlaze. Through a partnership with The Ability Center, mobility mats and beach wheelchairs will again be available at beach-based events to help ensure visitors of all abilities can experience the art installations and programming.
While ArtBlaze will return to South Shore on August 6, the event will take place in the park adjacent to the beach rather than on the sand itself. Organizers say the shift highlights the flexibility of the festival’s immersive art experience and reinforces ArtBlaze’s mission of bringing free, accessible arts programming to Milwaukee communities.
Last year’s ArtBlaze events welcomed more than 5,000 attendees and featured more than 65 artists, musicians, and performers.
All ArtBlaze events are free and open to the public.
