Milwaukee – Today, Senator Larson released the following statement on the passing yesterday of President Emeritus of the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO, Phil Neuenfeldt.

“I am greatly saddened to hear of the passing of my friend, Phil Neuenfeldt. Phil was a steadfast champion of the working people of Wisconsin and his guiding hand will be sorely missed. Phil knew that when we take care of our working brothers and sisters, we create a better society for everyone. My thoughts today are with his family, his friends, and all those whose cause he championed. With all those whom he helped mentor and empower during his tenure, it is clear that the fight for fair treatment for workers will continue in his name for decades onward.”
