Statement on behalf of Judge Hannah C. Dugan

Following is a statement on behalf of Judge Hannah C. Dugan:

Judge Hannah C. Dugan has committed herself to the rule of law and the principles of due process for her entire career as a lawyer and a judge. She has retained former United States Attorney Steven Biskupic to represent her. Judge Dugan will defend herself vigorously, and looks forward to being exonerated. This will be the extent of any statements or interviews at this time.

Steven M. Biskupic was a federal prosecutor for 20 years, and served as United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Wisconsin from 2002 through 2009. Mr. Biskupic also has extensive experience as a trial lawyer, serving as lead counsel on more than 75 jury trials and 30 court of appeals arguments.
