Statement from Alderwoman Larresa Taylor
Northridge: Blight no more
Today we have victory, and phantom owner Black Spruce is but a memory. They have lost.
The City of Milwaukee officially acquiring the former Northridge Mall property means the end of an era where public safety will no longer be at risk and this blight that plagued our community for decades will be gone. It means a new day has arrived for a new beginning.
Finally, we can exhale.
