Spring Election includes a return to polling at Lyons Park for some District 11 voters
Tomorrow (Tuesday, April 7), polls will be open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. across Milwaukee as residents cast their ballots in the Spring Election. Alderman Peter Burgelis wants to remind some in District 11 to take note that tomorrow’s election will include the return of Lyons Park, 3301 S. 55th St., as a polling location for those in wards 252, 269, and 344.
Due to construction in the area, the Milwaukee Election Commission had to temporarily vacate Lyons Park for the nearby Oklahoma Ave. Church. With construction now completed, voters can return to their regular polling location.
“I am encouraging those in District 11, and residents citywide, to get out and vote tomorrow during the Spring Election,” said Alderman Burgelis. “The city has previously notified impacted residents of wards 252, 269, and 344 that their polling location has returned to Lyons Park, but if you are still unsure or want to triple-check, you can quickly verify online and ensure you’re ready to vote.”
Residents can visit https://city.milwaukee.gov/election or https://myvote.wi.gov/ to find their polling place, check their registration status, or learn more about the Spring Election.
