"I want to wish him and his family the best in their future."
Madison…Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) has released the following statement after Rep. Lee Nerison announced his retirement from the Wisconsin State Assembly at the end of this term.
“I would like to thank Lee for his service to the Assembly and the state of Wisconsin. He’s been a strong voice for agriculture throughout his years in office. As the chair of the Assembly Committee on Agriculture, Lee oversaw the policy that helped fuel the significant growth of the industry. Lee championed the agricultural tourism law that became a model for the nation. He was also the Assembly author of a bipartisan law that created the Wisconsin Disaster Relief Fund, which has provided emergency funds to local governments following a natural disaster.
“I want to wish him and his family the best in their future. I hope he enjoys his retirement by spending more time with his children and grandchildren.”
