Slimy Bryan Steil Still Silent on Cornering Woman in Congress
MADISON, Wis. — Bryan Steil still hasn’t said a word since reporting broke nearly three weeks ago that Steil cornered a female reporter in an attempt to protect his Republican buddy, disgraced congressman Mike Green, from sexual impropriety. Steil tried fearmongering the reporter against taking legal action after she was falsely accused of being involved in Green’s extramarital affair, warning her that pursuing protective legal action would tank her career.
“Bryan Steil thinks that ignoring his involvement in trying to cover-up a sex scandal for his Republican buddy will make his sneaky and slimy actions disappear,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokeswoman Rachel La Due. “But women and constituents of Wisconsin’s first congressional district deserve answers. What other men has Steil covered up for? How far is he willing to go to protect his Republican buddies’ reputations?”
